Porto - Diálogos com a Cidade

Some say photography is the form of artistic expression closest to writing. The images that retain the poetry of the city, in its blacks and grey - this tonal range so characteristic of Porto - allows us to feel and better experience our town in its present moment, through this intimate narrative in search of a strong sensorial involvement. With the proposal of this singular vision of the elements of the city, reflecting its strong character and personality and valuing its heritage, architecture and urban life, we expect to motivate the observer for a journey of constant discovery, experimentation and knowledge of the place.
The exhibition photos were fully printed by the author on variable contrast gelatin silver paper Adox Deluxe Glossy Paper MCC 110 fiber, double weight 250 gr/m2, in the 30 X 40 (cm) and 40 X 40 (cm) sizes and archive processing. Solid wood frames with oak veneer finish in 52 X 52 (cm) size were used in the assembly, including acid free barrier and internal window in neutral pH mountboard / 2000 microns thickness with bevel cut.
