José Eduardo Cunha was born in Porto in 1965. Started his work as a photographer in 1981, thanks to the bad influences of his father and uncle, developing an printing all his black and white photographs. After a five-year "journey" through an Electronic Engineering course with dubious results, he finally joins the Porto Art School ESAP and finishes his Photography Course in a much better mood... It was 1992, the Maastricht Treaty was signed, founding the EU and Queen of England started paying taxes. The first Earth Summit took place in Brazil, Bill Clinton became US President and Euro Disney opened in France. José had his first assignment for an advertising agency. Collaborates regularly with numerous publishers in editorial projects.
